I have recently discovered that to print-on-demand think2ool in color, it was a bit of a shocker. I doubt anyone would buy the book at that price. It got me to thinking. While I was traveling last week and had a lot of time to think about it, I came to the conclusion that think2ool has very little utility as a book. If it has any usefulness and appeal at all, it would be as a content app accessible on a mobile device. Whether or not it could ever be monetized in some way, I have no idea, but that’s not important right now.

Mind Wandering think2ool sp think2ool is a browse engine for wandering and connecting, one topic to another, at the speed of a click, along the edges of new ideas. think2ool is a dynamic book of content that is created and destroyed on a daily basis to maintain a zero-sum fixed size of 80,000 words (250 pages). One new idea is posted each day to make you think, to surprise you, and to give you a random starting place for browsing. The best way to search is to use Ctrl+F, but you can click here to bring up a search box. think2ool uses these questions to filter content: • Will this item still be relevant a year from now? • Will it make you think about things? • Will it challenge you? • Is it excellent or praiseworthy? • Does it address permanent and universal human concerns? • Is it a big idea, game changer, disruptor, breakthrough? • Will it influence other great works? • Is it respected by experts? • Is it cool and on the edge? • Does it reflect the spirit of the times? wordpress: scottpickard | twitter: spickard6 Ideas | Balance | Big Picture | Creativity | Issues | Lateral Thinking | Zeitgeist

think2ool needs to be an app

When I started compiling think2ool many years ago, it was certainly a book at that time. And I have had that vision in my head for so long, it was hard for me to come off of that. But for a variety of reasons – feedback from family and friends, high cost to print in color, the use of thousands of links to the web, the dynamic nature of the content, and the fact that everybody is spending more time reading on their smart phones rather than out of a book – I think I should drop the print-on-demand project for now.

So I’m going to transition think2ool to an app and I will need a logo
